    With fall beginning on Friday, our pattern continues to push cool air and scattered showers through the region through the end of this week.  Temperatures are going to hover in the 40s through Friday afternoon with hit and miss rain and snow showers popping in and out of the region.

    Our year-to-date rainfall numbers still show us in a deficit but there are more spotty showers on the way in the next few days.  Evening temperatures will be in the 30s for most of the region, but cool enough that several areas could see more snow showers overnight with primarily rain expected in the valleys.
