No one was seriously injured in a two-vehicle injury accident when a Meagher County ambulance tried to make a left turn from the middle lane on Prospect Avenue in Helena on Sunday
The ambulance hit a small black truck in the left lane.
The two people in the truck, both from Helena, were transported to St. Peter's Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The ambulance from White Sulphur Springs had been in Helena transferring a patient to St. Peter's Hospital.
The driver of the ambulance was cited for improper lane changing and the driver of the truck was cited for not wearing a seatbelt.
The truck had to be towed away, while the ambulance suffered only minor damage and was able to drive back to Meagher County.
Law enforcement officials said that neither speed, nor alcohol, were factors.
