BUTTE - Organizers with the Montana Folk Festival have unveiled the complete lineup of performers for this year's event.
The three day music festival runs July 15-15 in Butte. It will feature six performance stages and admission is free.
"When we step back and take a look, this may be the best lineup we have assembled yet," said George Everett, Festival Director.
The final group of performers now confirmed for the Montana Folk Festival includes: Don Vappie and the Creole Jazz Serenaders of New Orleans, Volskaya Russian Duo (Russian Folk) of New York, Plena Libre (Puerto Rican Plena and Bomba) of New York, Sonny Burgess and the Legendary Pacers with special guest Lance Lipinsky (Rockabilly) of Little Rock, AR, Harmonia (Eastern European Folk) of Cleveland, OH, Deep River Rising (Traditional Appalachian) of Fairview, NC, Little Southern Cree (Native American Drumming) of Box Elder, MT, and Sound of My Soul (Ajerbijian and Iranian Folk) of Herndon, VA.

Hot Club of Cowtown - Western Swing
Diunna Greenleaf and Blue Mercy Band -- Blues
Roan Mountain Hilltoppers -- Old Time
Corey Ladet and his Zydeco Band -- Zydeco

Joshua Nelson -- Gospel
Mary Jane Lamond & Wendy MacIsaac -- Cape Breton Celtic
San Francisco Taiko -- Japanese Taiko

Rounding out the 2012 festival program are dozens of folklife demonstrators, instructors and performers in the Family Area and Montana Folklife Area, and these will be announced along with the performance schedule for the entire festival in the coming weeks.
