Beth Saboe returned to KBZK/KXLF in February 2010 to take over the helm of our new 90-minute morning show.

She's been a part of Montana's News Station since 2007 and most recently worked in Missoula at KPAX as a reporter for the 5:30 and 10:00 p.m. news. Prior to that, she was the Morning Show anchor & producer at KBZK/KXLF from 2008 to 2010.

Beth is a Montana native and grew up in the small eastern plains town of Sidney. She graduated from the University of Montana in 2005 with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science.

By nature, she's inquisitive and has a penchant for asking questions. Her curiosity seems to have paid off as Beth has a total of five individual and team E.B. Craney news awards under her belt and a Hearst Journalism award.

Beth got her start in radio and worked as news anchor & reporter for KUFM Montana Public Radio while attending UM. Her senior year she led a pilot radio project covering the 2005 MT State Legislature. More than 60 radio stations across Montana aired her reports and the news program was recognized as the "Best Non-Commercial Radio Program of the Year" by the Montana Broadcasters Association.

After college graduation, Beth moved to Seattle where she began working for NorthWest Cable News as a writer/production assistant. Though she enjoyed the fast-pace of city life, she missed the beauty and openness of Montana's big sky and the people that live here. In 2006, she jumped at the chance to return home and began working at KTVM in Bozeman as a reporter/producer. She was there for a year and a half before joining the MTN family.

Beth married her wonderful husband Aaron in 2008 and together they spend their time spoiling a little dog named Spike, camping, golfing or hiking trails around Missoula. But when the snow falls, you will most likely find her riding the Gallatin Valley's powdery slopes on her snowboard.

Keep in touch with Beth by email at beth@kbzk.com, on Twitter and on Facebook.
