At MSU the football season couldn't come soon enough for the Bobcats.
While the Cats taper down the grind of preseason camp, players are using the opportunity to heal and coaches are hoping to answer any lingering personnel questions. And by personnel questions, of course we mean quarterback.
The back and forth battle between Cody Kempt and Denarius McGhee rolls on, and with each passing practice and scrimmage, McGhee continues to push Kempt for starting honors. While the next 11 days will surely crawl for fans, the remaining practice sessions are helping in fueling the progression of the redshirt freshman who is sprinting towards the finish line, despite having things slow down in the pocket.
