Helena police have arrested a man who walked away from the Bozeman Pre-Release Center earlier this week.

Bradlee P. Woehl, 22, was involved in a hit and run car crash on the corner of 11th and Washington in Helena at around 2 p.m. Friday, according to Lt. Steve Hagen.

Woehl fled the scene and officers later found him hiding in a chicken coop near Townsend and Fee streets.

Woehl has been charged with five misdemeanors and is currently being held in the Lewis and Clark County jail.
