It is grand finale time for the girls playing high school basketball in the Treasure State. And with tournaments beginning Thursday, we're just two days away from finding out who is the best in the land.

On Thursday in the girls Class AA State Tournament Bozeman took on Missoula Big Sky in Billings.

In the first quarter there was some pretty play from the Lady Hawks. Mikaela McLeod had an alley-oop to Shanae Gilham who went underneath for the lay-up. Then it's Lindsay Manning with the three, putting Bozeman up double-digits.

Big Sky tried to stay in it with Elleson Tinkle who had a nice pass inside to Katie Showers who puts it off the glass.

But Bozeman was just way too good. The Lady Hawks went on to win 41-26 over the Lady Eagles.

In the early game it was the Butte High Lady Bulldogs playing Missoula Sentinel.

Early on Bryn Hasquet hits the short baseline J and the Spartans are up early. Then Kate Patenaude pulls up from the elbow, bumping Sentinel up five points.

But something woke up the Bulldogs. Cally Bosch, locked and loaded, shoots from the arc.

Butte rallied to win 43-32.

So that means Butte and Bozeman will meet at 3:30 p.m. Friday for the tournament semifinal game in Billings.

Bozeman has blown out the Lady Bulldogs the last two times the teams met.
