Jonathan Richards of Butte Central earned All-Tournament honors for the State A extravaganza at the Civic Center.
Butte Central was bounced out by Columbia Falls Saturday morning when the Maroons had just lost in the semifinals the night before, leaving very little time to rest or accept the fact that they wouldn't be state champs.
But for this team there will be returners next year, and head coach Brodie Kelly digs that. But he has to say good bye to the seniors first.
"Sean Ferriter and Justin Dunbar are just two tough, hard-nosed kids and really provided great leadership for us, just a lot of toughness on the floor, so we're definitely going to miss those guys. We've got a lot to be excited about. We've got guys that played a ton of minutes, got a great experience here at the tournament, got most of our scoring back for next year so we have a lot to be excited about," Kelly said.
