A Butte man accused of threatening a Montana Tech student with a knife in a school bathroom last year faces another felony charge in the case.
Brandon Curry, 29, pleaded not guilty today to aggravated burglary, this in addition to the felony assault with a weapon charge he's already facing. He has pleaded not guilty to that charge as well.
The incident began on the campus of Montana Tech in Butte Jan. 25 when officers responded to a report of an assault of a female student in the library. Sheriff John Walsh said the student told police that she was attacked by a man who reportedly forced her into the restroom and threatened her with a knife held to her throat. She fought him and he eventually fled.
Curry was later arrested near Laramie, Wyoming following a high-speed chase that ended when he lost control of his vehicle which was also rammed by a trooper's car.
