(UPDATE) The Missoula County Sheriff's Office tells us that the incident began when the driver of the car - which was reportedly stolen in Wyoming - engaged the Montana Highway Patrol in a chase on Interstate 90.
Authorities say the high-speed chase began at around 8 a.m. on Friday and ended when the driver hit spike strips that had been laid down on the I-90 westbound Orange Street off-ramp in Missoula.
The driver lost control after hitting the strips and the car ended up rolling over, coming to a rest on its top. The person had to be removed from the vehicle, and was taken to a Missoula hospital.
The Sheriff's Office tells MTN News that the driver's injuries did not appear to be serious.
We'll have more information on this developing story as it becomes available.
