NorthWestern Energy is celebrating 100 years of service.
NorthWestern Energy is teaming up with the Butte Archives to prepare for their centennial celebration. The company has recently been collecting memorabilia to display at the Butte Archives in September, according to Claudia Rapkoch, cooperate communications director for Northwestern Energy.
So far their collection includes old photographs, logging books and outdated equipment. NorthWestern Energy wants to invite all retirees, former employees or family members to add to their collection. All items will be handled with care and returned to their owner, according to Rapkoch. Rapkoch wants the display to capture the companies past and more.
"We've never stopped building our system, we're still building it," Rapkoch said. "So we're celebrating not just the past, but also the work that we're doing for the future."
If you would like to add to the collection you can contact Claudia Rapkoch at 497-2841 or the Butt-Silver Bow Public Archives at 782-3280. The collection will be on display in early September through December.
