Erin Yeykal joined Montana's News Station in July 2008.
Erin hails from Pennsylvania where she worked as a newspaper reporter for six years, covering crime, community events and everything in between in the northwestern part of the state. While there, Erin enjoyed getting to know the people in the Oil City/Franklin community and sharing their stories. She received an award from the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association for feature story reporting. Her first taste of television news reporting came in October 2005 when she appeared on CNN's Nancy Grace show for her coverage of a high-profile murder case.
Erin graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA where she studied English and psychology. For as long as she can remember, she has enjoyed the art of storytelling. She now uses her experience to manage the content on the www.KBZK.com and www.KXLF.com Web sites.
In April 2008, Erin headed west with her husband and two Newfoundland dogs. Enchanted with the Bozeman area, they decided to stay. Since being here, Erin has enjoyed hiking on the area's numerous and beautiful trails and exploring the outdoors with her dogs. Typically a hibernator in the winter, she is looking forward to learning to ski.
