A person involved with a shooting that killed one man Saturday evening near Fairfield is being charged with deliberate homicide.

The Teton County Sheriff said the shooting happened about 15 miles east of Fairfield on County Line Road.

The man that was shot was transported to Benefis hospital in Great Falls for his injuries, but died en route.

Two people are believed to be involved in the shooting.

Authorities are investigating the shooting, and have not yet released the names of either person or any further information.
