A unique football created in Butte will make its national debut on home shopping network QVC this week.

Passback Football is designed so it can be thrown and caught by the same individual. The football comes from First Base Sports Group LLC run by company president Mark Shutey of Butte.

According to a press release more than 20,000 Passbacks are currently used by countless professional, collegiate and high school football programs around the country for off season training and skill development.

The Passback is set to make its national debut on Tuesday morning, June 22 at 7 a.m. Eastern time.

Locally the Passback is available at the Sports Connection in the Butte Plaza Mall and the Montana Tech Digger Athletic Association.
