The former director of the Yellowstone Historic Center is facing a felony theft charge in Gallatin County District Court.

Court documents say Denise Zdansky knowingly exerted unauthorized control over a credit card that belonged to the historic center in West Yellowstone.

Prosecutors allege she charged more than $1,000 worth of personal items on the card between 2004 and 2006. Zdansky worked as the center's director during that time.

She pleaded not guilty to the charge and was released on her own recognizance.
