GREAT FALLS - Dawn Christensen was arrested Friday following an altercation involving her daughter and her grandchild.

GFPD officer Adam Hunt tells us the three were inside a pickup truck on the 700 block of 12th Street North at about 11:30 a.m.

The grandmother allegedly instigated a physical altercation against her daughter in the vehicle.

The 13-month old child was caught in the middle as she was sitting on her 19-year old mother's lap.

Christensen, 37, was taken into custody on charges of felony criminal endangerment for her actions against the toddler, and a misdemeanor partner/family member assault charge for her treatment of her teen daughter.

Paramedics checked on the baby at the scene, but no further medical attention was required.
