A house hunting trip in Anaconda turned into a terrifying trip for a mother and her three children on Friday.
According to a lieutenant with the Butte Police Department, George Allen Fode faces multiple felony charges including, one for his seventh DUI.

On Friday evening, Fode reportedly got into an argument with his wife after they finished house hunting in Anaconda. He reportedly began driving erratically, swerving on the interstate towards Butte in excess of 90 miles per hour.
His wife reportedly pleaded with him to stop. Two 9-year-old children and a one-year-old child were also in the vehicle.
Fode swerved onto the Frontage Road and when he stopped in a driveway on Bossard Road near the Fairmont interchange, his wife and the two 9-year-old children exited the vehicle. When his wife attempted to take her one-year-old child out of the carseat, Fode reportedly drove away before she could reach him.
Officers found Fode at his home where he took a breathalyzer and reportedly blew a .138 BAC.
Fode faces multiple felony charges including a felony DUI for his seventh charge, a habitual offender felony, a felony for four counts of criminal endangerment a misdemeanor for driving with a revoked/suspended license and a misdemeanor for partner family member assault (reasonable apprehension).
No injuries were reported.
In an unrelated incident, a 21-year-old Butte man faces a felony charge for a DUI per se and a felony charge for negligent vehicle assault.
The driver reportedly struck a pole on east Cobban and Wyoming streets late Friday night.
His passenger, a 23-year-old Butte resident reportedly hit the front windshield and was Life Flighted to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula. The driver was transported to Saint James in Butte.
The police department would not release photographs of the vehicle damage but there was a significant amount of alcohol pictured in the front and back seat of the car.
According to police documents, the driver was celebrating his 21st birthday.
Due to injuries, no arrests have been made and authorities will not release the names of the two men involved.
Both men have been released from the hospital. The driver is due in justice court Tuesday and faces two additional charges of careless driving and possession of dangerous drugs.
