Two Butte teens are facing multiple charges after a joy-ride through town early Wednesday morning.
Around 3 a.m. officers pursued a vehicle without tail lights that allegedly ran a stop light and was driving at excessive speeds.
The vehicle came to a stop near Holy Cross Church and the 2 teens fled.
Officers went to the home where the vehicle was registered.
The father of the driver answered the door. His son,17, was nowhere to be found but the passenger, also 17, was discovered at home.
The passenger was cited with possession of alcohol and a curfew violation.
Officers left citations for the other teen with his father including: a red light violation, reckless driving, eluding police officers and a curfew violation.
