LAS VEGAS (AP) - The Nevada governor's office says a man who was convicted, then acquitted of killing a Las Vegas casino executive has been released on parole.

Richard "Rick" Tabish, 45, is required to live with his parents in Missoula, Mont., and find a job, authorities said.

Tabish was made famous in a sensational Las Vegas murder trial where he and co-defendant Sandra Murphy were convicted of murdering Ted Binion, 55, at his Las Vegas home. Binion died in 1998 under mysterious circumstances.

Tabish and Murphy were acquitted in 2004 of murder charges after the Nevada Supreme Court granted a new trial. But a second jury convicted them of charges related to the silver theft.

Tabish was granted parole Jan. 13.
