Lats Cats to take on Sacramento State

While the Grizzly men are still in the midst of March Madness, the Bobcats were forced to hang it up for the season due to a six over a three seed upset on Saturday. But for the Lady Cats, they'll play the underdog role Thursday against Sacramento State when they come into the Big Sky Tournament as the six seed to play a three.

They will be led into Cheney by the two-time First Team All Conference senior Erica Perry, the hot shooting hand of sophomore Katie Bussey and the Big Sky Co-Defensive Player of the Year Sarah Strand.

The good news for the Cats is that MSU has beaten Sacramento State twice already this season. The bad news is that many a coach and player say it is very tough to beat a good team three times straight.

The Cats play Sacramento State at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
