HELENA - A man wanted by the U.S. Marshal's Service is in custody after leading Lewis & Clark County Sheriff's Deputies on a high-speed chase.
At around 4:00 on Wednesday afternoon, Sheriff's deputies attempted to stop the suspect on a warrant.
The incident quickly turned into a high-speed chase on MacDonald Pass.
The suspect then led authorities about five miles up Rimini Road before crashing into a guard rail on a bridge.
No injuries were reported.
Lewis & Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton said, "There are warrants from several different states. I am not at liberty to say just exactly where they are. We'll probably announce that tomorrow. But right now we won't disclose as to where the warrants are coming from but he has been arrested on a felony warrant plus he'll have charges coming out of this county as well."
Sheriff Dutton says another man is also being detained for questioning.
The suspect vehicle was taken into evidence.
The Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
