Last week the medical marijuana debate took center stage in Anaconda, now that same battle will move west to the city of Deer Lodge.

A group of concerned Deer Lodge citizens have called for an informational summit at the Pen Convention Center at 7 p.m. Tuesday. There they will revisit the 90-day moratorium that was passed on April 9. With only a little more than a month left in the ordinance's window, citizens are questioning if the moratorium has been recognized by a local caregiver and growing operation.

Guest speaker Mark Long of the state's Narcotics Bureau will be on hand to discuss the issues surrounding the Medical Marijuana Act and help answer any questions the residents may have.
