The Montana State University volleyball team has a season of its own creeping up.

The team pushed through a round of running suicides during their second practice of the day on Tuesday. The Lady Cats are in year three under the watch of Sara Schaub and they are buying into her vision for the program and with team unity budding.

The upperclassmen are looking forward to letting their hard work pay off.

"Basically the number one thing is everyone is on the same page and working towards the same goal. This is the first time I've been on a team at MSU that's actually respecting each others' differences and using them to our advantage instead of disadvantage," outside hitter Rachelle Allen said.

"Lots has changed since I've been here and it's all changed for the better, this year especially. All our incomers are producing right from the get go and we're gonna be a force to deal with in the Big Sky," back defender Meghan Albiston said.

The Lady Cats will head outdoors later this week with a different approach to practice.
