Schnee's Boots & Shoes is expanding its downtown Bozeman operations.

In a press release, Schnee's announced it is relocating its landmark downtown store two blocks to the east into the historic Story Block building on the corner of Main and Black. The business will nearly double its square footage and its selection of boot and shoes, the release states.

During the move, Schnee's will merge its footwear store with the Powder Horn.

"By joining together these two longstanding fixtures of Historic Downtown Bozeman, Schnee's will bring together under one roof a new Flagship Store in downtown that will dovetail with the company's fast-growing national and international online and catalog business," the release states.

Schnee's grand reopening is scheduled for this spring.
