BOZEMAN - Firefighters quickly put out a small fire at a local business near MSU early Friday morning.
A bystander reported smoke coming from the roof of the Sola café at 290 W. Kagy just before 4 a.m. Bozeman fire crews say the fire was in the attic above the restaurant. They were able to get it quickly under control before much damage occurred.
Smoke could be seen inside the building as crews made sure the fire was out. No word yet on how the fire started. Fire crews from Fort Ellis, Gallatin Gateway, Rae Sourdough, and Central Valley all responded to the mutual aid call, as did AMR Ambulance as a precaution.
