Montana State University police are asking for help after a string of burglaries on campus.

Over the last few months there have been 11 cases of burglary and property theft reported at on-campus buildings. Areas hit include the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse, Wilson Hall, Hannon Hall and Paisley Court.

The school says some places were locked and some were not.

Campus police remind students to always lock their doors and take their keys. Also, if you see a door propped open, remove the prop and lock the door, they suggest.

Police are investigating these incidents and remind people to be vigilant, report crimes and any suspicious activity.

Anyone with information on the burglaries or if you notice suspicious activity you are asked to call campus police at 994-2121.
