MISSOULA - Investigators are still trying to track down the men involved in allegedly stalking and sexually assaulting a Missoula woman last month.
The Missoula County Sheriff's Office says the 39-year-old woman was walking home from a bar in the early morning hours of July 23, when two men pulled up to her near Shopko and started talking to her.
They left after a brief conversation with the woman, but caught up to her again on Spurgin Road where the passenger allegedly got out and sexually assaulted her.
The woman said she pepper sprayed her attacker, ran off and hid in the bushes. She then spent several hours continuing to hide in bushes as she tried to make her way home, while the two men looked for her.
The alleged victim described the suspect vehicle as a "really big" four-door Chevy pick-up truck, champagne in color. She also told investigators that the attacker was in his 30s, but the driver looked younger.
If you have any information on this incident, call the Missoula County Sheriff's Office or Crimestoppers.
