Despite exacting revenge on Eastern Oregon over the weekend, Montana Tech (6-1) remains at number eight in the NAIA Top 25 Poll released today. The Diggers held off Eastern to secure a 28-20 win, getting last laughs against the team that is responsible for their only loss this season. Other Frontier Conference member Carroll College (6-2) moves up one slot to sixth in the country. The only other Frontier Conference team making the poll is Southern Oregon (5-2) moving up four spots to 19th. The Raiders had a tough time in the first half against Montana Western (2-5), but exploded in the 3rd and 4th quarters to come out ahead with a 76-29 victory.
