Another round of thick smoke is flowing from the Mustang Complex fire in Idaho into SW Montana this morning and stretches all up into the highline city of Harlem.
Visible satellite imagery as of 9am this morning shows clearly the plume of smoke rolling to the NE from central Idaho up into Canada.
The latest information form inciweb.org the fire has grown to almost 150,000 acres this morning. Evacuations are ordered along the highway 93 corridor in Idaho just north of Salmon.
There are numerous fires burning throughout central Idaho and as a cold front approaches this afternoon and winds will pick up more smoke will push our way at times also look for ash along with thick smoke into this evening.
The 9am update on Air Quality from MDEQ has Butte and West Yellowstone rated Good and Bozeman as Moderate. As fire activity flares up this afternoon we will likely see air quality worsen.
