Fuel Fitness & Nutrition is very pleased to present a Habitat for Humanity fundraiser featuring Tim Tebow in Butte Montana on March 6, 2012 at the Butte Civic Center. This event will take place at 1pm with tickets starting as low as $25.00 and will be on sale next week via the Butte Civic Center web site. Michael Burks, the owner of Fuel Fitness, says "the reasons for the event are to bring in an exciting, positive role model to the Butte community as well as to raise enough funds to allow Habitat for Humanity to build a new house for a family in need. We have priced the tickets so that anyone can afford to come to the event, and if we can fill every seat we will raise enough money to allow Habitat to provide a brand new home to a local family". There are going to be 10 sponsorship opportunities for local businesses that will include such benefits as catching (and keeping) a signed football thrown by Tebow, a VIP private luncheon, meet & greet and photo opportunity with Tebow at Montana Club restaurant on Harrison Ave. as well as reserved seating at the event. In addition, they will be invited to the check presentation to Habitat and, if the dollar goal is achieved, the ribbon cutting ceremony when the house is presented to its new owners. All persons interested in becoming sponsors can email fuelfitnessmt@gmail.com for more details. The event will consist of Mr. Tebow speaking for a short time, then taking questions from the audience. Burks is allowing the residents of Butte and surrounding areas to ask those questions via the Fuel Fitness Facebook page. If the question is picked, then that person will get credit for asking it and will have the opportunity to hear their question answered in person. In order to try to get as many people to the event as possible, Fuel Fitness is going to give away a free ticket to the event for any person that signs up for a one year membership at either the Helena or Butte location. Burks, who also owns the Missoula Maulers Junior Hockey Team, the Missoula Phoenix Semi Pro Football Team, and Garden of Read'n, a local Christian Bookstore in Missoula, is also a major sponsor in the Kalispell Tebow event benefiting the Stillwater Christian School. When asked why he was not involved in the event put on in his home town of Missoula, he replied "I worked with Brent Gyuricza at City Life Center from day one on all of the details, but in the final hour they decided that my partnership was unnecessary". The Butte event is going to have the tag line 'Let's fill the house so we can build a house'. Burks concluded with, "Hopefully this time next year, a family will be living in a beautiful brand new home thanks to Tim Tebow and the 6,500 people who gave so graciously".
