Thousands of dollars worth of tools and equipment were stolen from a residential garage in Butte over the weekend.

A garage in the 2100 block of Locust Street was broken into sometime between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28, Butte-Silver Bow Sheriff John Walsh said.

Thousands of dollars worth of power tools, fishing, hiking and camping equipment were stolen. Some of the stolen items include a power jigsaw, sander, welding torch, chainsaw and fly rods.

No arrests have been made in the burglary.
