UPDATE: A senior citizen who caused two accidents while driving the wrong way on Interstate 90 was cited with two counts of reckless driving, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
The woman, 71, was traveling from Washington to Livingston to visit her family and stopped to ask for directions. She got back on the highway westbound in the eastbound lane around 8 a.m. today.
The first crash happened when a red car swerved off the road to miss the woman's car. The second crash happened when she crashed head-on into a pickup truck, according to the MHP trooper.
No one was injured in any of the crashes and all involved were wearing seatbelts.
The elderly woman was taken to St. James Healthcare in Butte for an evaluation.
These pictures were sent back from the scene.
