UPDATE: Missing Anaconda woman's car found; Boyfriend sought for questioning

ANACONDA - A car belonging to a missing Anaconda woman was found abandoned this morning.

At around 6:30 a.m. Friday, Anaconda police received a call from Powell County officials, saying that Tammy Salle's car was found on the Racetrack overpass. Officers responded and found the vehicle with a flat tire and no one around, Anaconda Police Chief Tim Barkell said. The car was towed to a holding facility and, as of 12:15 p.m., police were waiting to receive a search warrant.
Salle, 41, was reported missing after she was last seen by family members on Sunday.

Police are still trying to locate Salle's boyfriend, John Goldberg, for questioning, Barkell said. Police talked to Goldberg on Dec. 26, and he said that he and Salle had gotten into an argument and she left in the car and headed towards Deer Lodge, Barkell said. Barkell added that police checked the couple's home in Anaconda at that time and did not find Salle. Police asked Goldberg to come in to talk to them, but he never did, Barkell said, adding that when they try to call him now, the calls go straight to voicemail.

Police are also looking for Goldberg's vehicle, a 2010 GMC pickup truck, which is blue-gray in color.

Police are now waiting to receive search warrants for the car and home.

Salle is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs between 140 to 150 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Anaconda police at 406-563-5241.
