MISSOULA - Vann's is now working with two buyers in hopes of selling the Missoula-based appliance and electronics company, which recently filed for bankruptcy.
The company's Chapter 11 trustee said he can't get into the details about the ongoing negotiations because of a non-disclosure agreement with the potential buyers. He says they're working diligently with those unnamed potential buyers to sell the company and make sure the stores stay open.
Vann's filed for bankruptcy in early August because of the steep drop-off in sales.
The company hopes to come up with an agreement that works for all parties involved in the sale of Vann's by the end of the week.
Vann's employs more than 150 people at stores across Montana, including Kalispell, Billings, Bozeman, Missoula and Hamilton.
