Morning Meteorologist Adam Bell with your Morning Updated Forecast for Wednesday, February 10, 2010

Happy Wednesday, and it's a warm one this morning! We are seeing temperatures already in the 20's under just partly cloudy skies. Even though we are off to a nice start this morning, today's highs won't rebound much from these mild lows. Plenty of clouds today will deter any sunshine from really getting a chance to warm us up. That being said, if we do see some afternoon sun, we could quickly beat my forecast highs.

Tomorrow has an increasing chance for a few flurries. The latest numbers this morning indicate the possibility for an inch or two of accumulation, especially west of the divide, with perhaps a couple inches in the mountains. Though we may see some light snow, this particular storm will do little to help our snowpack up in the mountains.

In the wake of this weak system, skies will turn partly cloudy and our highs will bounce into the upper 30's, possibly near 40 degrees in the valleys for several days to come. By early next week, we could see sunny skies and mild weather sticking around.
