This morning the Mountain View Cemetery contacted police to report the theft of 70 to 80 bronze vases used to hold flowers marking crypts around the cemetery's oldest mausoleum.

A fugitive who is wanted in Montana was arrested in the Philippines.
Alexander Theodore Bean was arrested during the early morning hours of Friday, May 18 by the Philippine Bureau of Immigration in Bolotan, Zambales Province, Philippines, according to United States Marshal Darrell Bell. (More)

A Belgrade woman who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and distribution of methamphetamine has been sentenced to three years in prison.
Carrie Jean Woodruff, 38, was also sentenced to five years supervised released during a hearing in federal court in Missoula.

A Bozeman man who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine was sentenced to more than seven years in prison.
