Coats for Kids to give out coats to those in need 11/12/16

Posted: Updated:

When families struggle to clothe their children with warm coats in the winter, Knights of Columbus councils help meet this basic need with the Coats for Kids program.

Since the start of the program in 2009, more than 310,000 coats have been distributed in 49 states and all 10 Canadian provinces. In winter 2016 alone, the Knights of Columbus distributed 78,576 coats in 1,600 communities throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The Bozeman Council of the Knights of Columbus will be hosting its annual Coats for Kids program on Saturday, November 12th from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in the basement of Holy Rosary Parish.  Last year we were able to give out around 50 coats to children in need in our community.  We hope to double that number this year.

We look forward to seeing you on November 12th if you, or someone you know could benefit from this program.  If you would like to make a donation to assist us in the purchasing of these new coats, please contact Chris Budeski (Grand Knight), or Aaron Boyd (Chairman, Coats for Kids Program), aaronpboyd@gmail.com.
