BUTTE -

The organizer of Butte's Original Festival has found a unique way to raise money for the music festival - from the foul line.

Matt Boyle will spend all day Friday making a free throw for every dollar that's donated to his GoFundMe page to raise money that will be used to promote the Original Festival, which is a music and arts festival that runs Sept. 8th and 9th at the Original Mineyard in Butte. His target is to raise $20,000 that will be used to promote the festival.

“All The marketing money is going to be used to market the festival outside of Butte so the whole point is to take this money and bring people from outside of the city and bring people to Butte so they can spend money here,” Boyle said.

Boyle will start shooting at 8:30 Friday morning and continue until midnight at the Knights of Columbus gym in Butte. People can donate at this GoFundMe page during this event.
