The Missoula Art Museum and Montana artists are putting the finishing touches on the Art Park set to open for Earth Day on Friday.
The Park will open on the corner of Pattee and Pine street in downtown Missoula, featuring the work of six artists like Montana Artist and University of Montana Alumni Patrick Zentz, who put together his Cycle-slash-S display Thursday, which uses a wagon wheel and bike wheel to respond to the wind and sun to make a more interactive art display.
This is one of the works that will be displayed during the inaugural exhibition of the "By the Bike" show displayed in the new Park. Zentz says he's just honored to be apart of it.
"It's a grand way to treat this street and what's happened here and it exposes art, in a way that this museum has an incredible expertise in doing so I'm happy to be a participant with them, Zentz said."
The "By the Bike" exhibit will be up through November.
