THREE FORKS -

It's not always clear how to send help to those involved in a tragedy, but fresh pastries and fresh coffee are a nice gesture.

On Tuesday morning Wheat Montana did what it does best, by  encouraging law enforcement officers on the scene of Deputy Mason's Moore's death to eat and drink a little something.

The company's headquarters and deli is located at the Highway 287 exit of I-90 and saw officers driving past the office throughout the morning.

Wheat Montana invited all law enforcement to come in and then eventually sent breakfast over to the scene, while officers from across the state investigated into the afternoon.

TLC Septic & Excavation Services donated portable toilets and also brought lunches from Wheat Montana.

"I have been in emergency services myself and in a situation like that, they're not thinking about themselves and the fact that they need to eat and get some water in them to keep going. They're just focused at the job at hand,” said Sarah Ralston, Wheat Montana deli manager.

The Salvation Army of Bozeman also brought food and coffee yesterday morning.

Gallatin County Emergency Management thanked those three businesses as well as the many anonymous people who sent help.
