Frosty Start For Butte Friday Morning

Posted: Updated:

Storm system that dumped heavy snow and rain across Montana is digging into Colorado this afternoon and most of the wet weather locally is coming to an end.

Skies should be clearing overnight and temperatures will fall down to freezing or below freezing by early Friday morning. Good news is the forecast is mostly dry and a gradual warming trend begins Friday. The only exception is a few isolated pop up showers could develop over mountain ranges Friday afternoon and again Saturday afternoon.

Watch this short on demand video forecast for a look at the forecast through midnight tonight and for a look at the High Resolution Tru Vu Forecast to see where a few isolated showers could develop Friday and Saturday.

Join me tonight at 5:30 pm and 10 pm for updates on the weekend forecast on KXLF. STORMTracker Weather your only local weather source for Butte and SW Montana.
