Storm Reports Mountain Snow Last 48 Hours

Report from the National Weather Service Great Falls Forecast Office on the last 48 hours snow and precipitation for mountain snotel sites in SW Montana.

Heavy precipitation fell across much of central and southwest

Montana over the past two days. The heaviest amounts were over

higher elevations in the southwest and in the Rocky Mountains

west of Dupuyer. Amounts up to 4-inches were reported. Heavy

snow fell at the higher elevations as well. Nearly two-feet of

snow fell at Badger Pass (west of Dupuyer), while amounts of more

than a foot fell in the southwest mountains. Even Bozeman and

West Yellowstone had snow accumulations.
