Nice Today But Not As Nice Wednesday For Butte

Posted: Updated:

Temperatures were a little closer to the 30 year mean today reaching the mid to upper 50s and a few lower 60s Tuesday afternoon.

The weather pattern will be changing beginning tomorrow as a pacific cold front rolls over Montana. This will bring another shot of colder air into the state and could produce a little rain or snow for the valleys and some minor snow accumulations over the mountain passes in SW Montana.

If you plan on traveling west over Lookout Pass on I-90 Wednesday into Thursday there will likely be a better chance for accumulating snow.

Watch the above on demand STORMTracker video forecast for a detailed look at the timing of the cold front and see the timing, location and intensity of possible rain and snow as well with Chief Meteorologist Mike Heard.
