Cold Front Passing Through SW Montana This Afternoon

Posted: Updated:

Mild again today for most of SW Montana with temperatures up into the 50s and 60s but a cold front will kickoff a cooling trend this afternoon and cooler than normal temperatures to continue for the rest of the week and first half of the weekend.

Behind today's cold front a slower moving upper level Low will be spinning through the pacific NW and Northern Rockies and will bring some off and on wet weather Thursday through Friday. Forecast models show a better push of moisture arriving with this Low Friday afternoon through Saturday morning with mountain snow likely and could have a minor impact on traveling over mountain passes.
