Weather To Cooperate For Ski Season Opener

6 to 10 day outlook is forecasting a continued cooler than normal pattern and slightly above normal precipitation through November 20th.

In the above special edition on demand STORMTracker video forecast Chief Meteorologist Mike Heard will look at the temperature and precipitation forecast for the next couple of weeks and a look at a long range snowfall forecast. 

All indications right now are pointing to an excellent opener for most ski resorts over the Thanksgiving weekend holiday.

    BUTTE - A woman in Butte faces a felony assault charge after she stabbed a security guard at the local hospital. Linda Berger, 50, reportedly became erratic while being treated at St. James Healthcare on Sunday night, when she grabbed a pair of scissors from a counter in the hospital.

    KALISPELL - The search continues for a missing skier in the Flathead valley. Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry has identified the skier as Dr. Jonathan Scott Torgerson, 62, from Columbia Falls. Torgerson is a long-practicing area physician.
