It was a busy week for most, full of Thanksgiving preparations and celebrations. In case you missed it (ICYMI), here are some of the top stories from KXLF:

Capitol Christmas tree star visits Butte en route to DC

Many people came out to take pictures of the Montana-made star that will top the Capitol tree that was grown in Montana. People said they are proud Montana is contributing to this year's Capitol tree.

A second chance at “Love” offered as Butte musical to be shown, released on DVD

It only ran for two nights on Mother Lode Theater stage in Butte last June, but people can get a chance to see the Butte musical No Greater Love again in December.

Butte schools collect food for needy families during Thanksgiving

Students at Butte High were putting their backs into it to make sure needy local families have enough food for Thanksgiving. Schools from across the Mining City contributed to this event.
