Kaycie Kister, the woman who walked away from the Passages Women's Program Saturday self-surrendered herself Sunday and is currently in custody, according to Alternatives, Inc. CEO David Armstrong.
Alternatives, Inc. operates the men and women's pre-release centers.
BILLINGS - The Montana Department of Corrections is seeking an adult female escapee from the Passages Women's Program.
Kaycie Kister, 29, is a 5-foot-9-inch Caucasian female with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Kister was sentenced for criminal endangerment in Yellowstone County. She was placed in the Passages Program on Oct. 9, 2017. With her new felony escape charge, she potentially faces an additional ten-year prison sentence.
Authorities said Kister should not be approached.
The Department requested information concerning her whereabouts be reported to law enforcement immediately.
