Morning Travel Update: Expect Icy On Area Roads

Posted: Updated:

Light snow is possible for your Monday morning commute, but ice on area roads will be the biggest concern for the morning drive.  Temperatures are not expected to get above freezing for your Monday despite moderate sunshine in the afternoon.  Coats, hats, and gloves will come in handy with the cool air that will linger through the afternoon.  Clear skies will allow overnight temperatures to fall to single digits for much of the area as chilly air sticks around through the weekend.
