Actor and Montana Resident Bill Pullman premieres new movie in Whitehall

Posted: Updated:

BUTTE - People will get a chance to meet a star at Whitehall's Star Theatre later this month.

Actor and Montana Resident Bill Pullman will be at the Star Theatre for the Premier of his latest film "The Ballad of Lefty Brown." The premiere of this western, which was shot in Montana, will also be a fundraiser for the Jefferson County Museum. Organizers say it was Pullman's idea to support the Museum.

“He had the idea of giving back to the museum as an homage to the western film we're showing. It's kind of showing the history of the old west and preserving our history through the museum,” said Colton Anderson, owner of the Star Theatre.

The film premiers Jan. 26th at 5:30 p.m. and is $50 a ticket. Guest will get to meet Bill Pullman and the film's director.
