City expresses concerns about traffic near proposed high school football stadium in Bozeman

Posted: Updated:

BOZEMAN - Bozeman City Commissioners heard and reviewed the plan for the high school stadium at Bozeman High School on Monday night.

The main concern of the commission with the school district’s plan is the traffic in the neighborhood area of 15th St. between West Main and Durston St.

The district did propose to put a traffic circle in the area to help with that traffic, but commissioners still want to ensure there are no issues with emergency vehicles getting into that area.

The next step will be for the planning board to review the plan and make recommendations to the school board.

The plans call for the construction to begin on the new stadium this spring.
